Use of personal information

Information you submit to ACER will be provided securely, together with your STAT test results, to the Australian Tertiary Admissions Centres.

ACER will not disclose the personal information of candidates to any third party other than the Tertiary Admissions Centres.

Candidates indicate their agreement with a statement acknowledging that their test results may be used by relevant authorities for research into the STAT program. You are assured that any use of your registration and test sitting records will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Names will be separated from data in any research undertaken.

Remote proctoring

If you choose to sit the test by remote proctoring you will need to provide your Personal Information to a third party, ProctorU (ACER’s current provider of remote proctoring). ProctorU is a company based in the United States. Personal Information you provide to ProctorU will be stored outside of Australia. You may view ProctorU’s privacy policy at
