COVID-19 (Coronavirus) advice
STAT venue-based test sitting on 16 May 2020 cancelled all locations in ACT, NSW, TAS and VIC
Following government advice, and the recommendations of the Chief Medical Officer, ACER has made the difficult decision that the upcoming STAT exam due to be held on Saturday 16 May 2020 cannot proceed. No test centres will be operating in the states of ACT, NSW, TAS and VIC.
ACER has not made this decision lightly. We understand that people still need to take STAT to support their tertiary applications. To facilitate this, we will continue to offer our May and June online test windows. We have also added additional online test windows throughout the rest of the year to allow for the extra demand that may occur as result of the cancellation. Online testing allows you to take your STAT test in the comfort of your own home, at a time of your choosing, within the available test window. Further information about STAT online testing.
At this stage, the STAT venue-based test sittings for 5 September and 21 November 2020 will proceed as scheduled.
Candidates in NT, QLD, SA or WA must contact their local Tertiary Admissions Centre for information about STAT sittings in their state/territory.
